In consecutive interpreting, the interpreter listens and takes notes while the speaker is speaking. When the speaker pauses, the interpreter relays the translated message to the audience. Consecutive interpreting may be one-way, which only requires the transmission of the message from the speaker to the audience, or two-way, which requires the interpretation of dialogue between two speakers/groups of speakers. No specialised equipment is required.

Our experts have excellent language skills, are knowledgeable of many specialised business areas, and can provide reliable consecutive interpretation in the following situations:

  • Small Business Meetings
  • Teleconferences
  • Government/Medical/Business Appointments
  • Negotiations
  • Recorded Statements
