SIMULTANEOUS INTERPRETING
Simultaneous interpreting involves listening to a message delivered in the source language (speaker) while transmitting those words in the target language (audience). This form of interpreting is extremely demanding and requires incredible concentration and stamina. As a result, simultaneous interpreters typically work in teams of two and in 20-minute increments. Specialised equipment is necessary.
