Speech-to-text Interpreting Services
Speech-to-text interpreting is the live transcription of written text with an aim to assist equal access communication.

It serves as an alternative for hearing-impaired or deaf individuals who are not able to or choose not to communicate with the help of sign language. Speech-to-text interpreters reproduce spoken words into a text format onto computer monitors or screens.

According to the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), every individual has the right to “full and effective participation and inclusion in society”. This can be in various contexts, such as university studies or the participation in conferences.
